i read some reviews and it said that the video ipod 30gb can hold up to 100 hrs of video and at the apple store it said could hold up to 40 hrs of video so which one is really real 100hrs of video or 40 hrs. plz give me real ones.

40 sounds more correct. expecially because apple said so... but it could depend on how many megabites or w/e each vid. takes up!
